Does wheatgrass arrive frozen or fresh? Our fresh-cut wheatgrass and microgreens arrive fresh, harvested to order and packed in insulated coolers with reusable non-sweat gel packs. Our frozen wheatgrass shots arrive to your door frozen solid via Express (guaranteed) shipping. We ship the majority of frozen Mon–Wed only. Select locations have options for Thursday shipping. How long does wheatgrass stay fresh after shipping? Plan for a 9 day shelf life from the day your receive your wheatgrass. Wheatgrass must be refrigerated immediately upon arrival. For best results, replace in the refrigerator immediately upon use. A file sample is kept on site of every harvest to compare and check lots.
Can wheatgrass spoil during delivery? We minimize spoilage risk by shipping in insulated boxes with gel packs and carefully scheduling shipments — Mon–Fri for 1-day zones, Mon–Wed/Thu for 2-day zones — so your order never sits over a weekend. Please note that UPS and FedEx do not day guarantee GROUND shipments. If you are in a particularly hot area, we recommend paying for Express shipping, or choosing one of our Bundles. This guarantees your shipment.
Do I need to refrigerate immediately? Yes — refrigerate your wheatgrass as soon as it arrives to preserve freshness and nutritional potency.
What areas are eligible for GROUND shipping? Areas include the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest. See coverage map (1 or 2 day service, depending on distance). The majority of the time, Ground shipping to these areas works great and can save you money. However with extreme heat or weeks with holidays such as July 4th, Christmas, New Years, etx., we recommend Express Shipping which is Guaranteed. All areas have the OPTION of express shipping. However, we ONLY ship 2 Day Express or Overnight to areas in dark blue and purple, which are located outside of the ground coverage area. These areas are not included in the $5 Flat rate GROUND shipping.

To ensure freshness, we ship in insulated boxes with re-usable non-sweat gel packs. We ship out Monday - Friday to customers within our 1-day coverage area, and Monday - Wednesday or Thursday for customers within our 2-day coverage area. Frozen juices are only shipped out Express Monday thru Wednesdays. Andi's Way may ship UPS depending on your location and availability of FedEx.
